Expected Borussia Dortmund lineup for TSG Hoffenheim clash

Midfielders: Mahmoud Dahoud, Jude Bellingham, Julian Brandt
Borussia Dortmund will be hoping to have Mahmoud Dahoud back in the starting XI this weekend after he missed the St. Pauli game due to a back injury. If the German international is not ready to play from the start against Hoffenheim, Axel Witsel will likely keep his place in the lineup.
Witsel had a difficult time against St. Pauli and looks short on both form and confidence at the moment. But with Emre Can and Gio Reyna not available, Marco Rose does not have any other alternatives in midfield.
Jude Bellingham and Julian Brandt look set to start in the dual number eight role. The latter had an especially difficult time against St. Pauli, and he will want to deliver a much improved performance this weekend.
