The January transfer window saw teams across Europe’s top leagues splash out big money to bolster their squads. Juventus sign Borussia Dortmund target Denis Zakaria
Borussia Dortmund have missed out on the signing of Denis Zakaria, with the midfielder joining Juventus from Borussia Mönchengladbach. Reports in Germany claimed last month that the Black and Yellows were interested in signing Zakaria on a free transfer at the end of the season. But Juventus swooped in and signed the Swiss international for a fee in the region of 5 million euros plus bonuses.
Borussia Dortmund will now have to turn their attentions elsewhere as they look for a long-term replacement for Axel Witsel.
