Karim Adeyemi is determined to join Borussia Dortmund in the summer, and he has even turned down a higher salary offer from RB Leipzig.

RB Salzburg striker Karim Adeyemi has been one of the breakout stars in European football this season. The 20 year old is wanted by some of the biggest clubs in Europe, including FC Barcelona, Liverpool, Bayern Munich and several others. But he appears set to join Borussia Dortmund in the summer.

According to BILD, Adeyemi even turned down an offer from RB Leipzig even though they were ready to pay him a higher salary than the Black and Yellows. Leipzig reportedly left no stone unturned in their bid to sign Adeyemi, but to no avail.

The tabloid adds that Borussia Dortmund and RB Salzburg are in concrete negotiations over the transfer of Adeyemi. And while the two clubs are still far apart in their valuations of the German international, there is a feeling that the deal will be done by the summer at the latest.

RB Salzburg are holding out for a transfer fee in the region of 35-40 million euros for Adeyemi. While Borussia Dortmund would like to sign him for a fee close to the 30 million euros mark. Michael Zorc and Sebastian Kehl both traveled to Salzburg to hold talks with the Austrian club late last month. Dortmund have already reached an agreement with Adeyemi over personal terms.
