Union Berlin 0-3 Borussia Dortmund player ratings: Marco Reus brace seals vital win
By Tushar Bahl
Julian Brandt (5/10)
Brandt had a few encouraging moments, but was frustrating to watch for the most part. He clumsily lost the ball on a few occasions and also failed to make any impact with his set pieces.
Marco Reus (9/10)
Reus delivered an excellent all-round performance to lead Borussia Dortmund to victory. Not only did he show great composure in front of goal, but he also put in an excellent defensive shift. The BVB skipper played an important role in helping his side earn a clean sheet.
Donyell Malen (7/10)
Malen put in another hard working shift for his side. Playing up front by yourself against a back three is never easy, but the Netherlands international was heavily involved in the game. He made the second goal happen, and also came very close to scoring twice.
Emre Can, Youssoufa Moukoko, Steffen Tigges, Nico Schulz, Reinier (N/R)
The game was already in the bag by the time Marco Rose decided to make his substitutions, but Moukoko nearly earned himself a scoring opportunity with some really good pressing.
