Julian Brandt (3/10)

Brandt did not have the best of games and was taken off at half time. He lost possession nine times in the first half alone and also failed to keep up with Alfredo Morelos before the second goal.

Marco Reus (2/10)

Reus was beaten way too easily at the near-post before Rangers’ second goal. And he also let Lundstram get away from him and make it 3-0 early in the second half. The Borussia Dortmund captain did have a shot cleared off the line. But other than that, he did not have too many encouraging moments going forward.

Donyell Malen (2/10)

Malen led the attack for Borussia Dortmund but wasn’t able to get involved in the game whatsoever. He made a couple of decent runs early on and worked tirelessly. But more often than not, he did not seem to have an exact idea of what his role is supposed to be in this team.

Youssoufa Moukoko (5/10)

Moukoko caused the Rangers defenders a few problems with his dribbling and directness.

Gio Reyna (5/10)

Reyna had a decent chance to score but failed to make the most of it. He had a few encouraging touches, but wasn’t able to provide the spark for a comeback.

Nico Schulz (3/10)

Schulz came on for the injured Manuel Akanji and looked clumsy both going forward and defensively.
