Thorgan Hazard (4/10)

Hazard tried to make things happen and also put in a hard working shift for his side. But he did not cause Rangers any problems whatsoever, and was then subbed off in the second half.

Marco Reus (4/10)

Reus made a good start but his influence started to wane as the game wore on. He did have a chance to pull a goal back late in the second half. But he lost his balance (perhaps because he was fouled) after rounding past the goalkeeper. He then suffered an injury towards the end, and had to be replaced by Axel Witsel.

Donyell Malen (6/10)

Malen looked dangerous in the first half and gave Borussia Dortmund the lead on the night. But he also failed to make the most of a couple of other decent opportunities. The Netherlands international wasn’t able to get involved in the game at all after the break.

dark. Next. What will new signing Niklas Süle bring to BVB?

Marius Wolf (4/10)

Wolf came on to replace Meunier at half time. His decision making in and around the box was really poor for the most part.
