Borussia Dortmund lost further ground to rivals Bayern Munich on Sunday as they played out a 1-1 draw against FC Augsburg.

Borussia Dortmund had another evening to forget in Bavaria on Sunday. The Black and Yellows were held to a 1-1 draw by FC Augsburg, all but ending any hopes they had left of closing the gap to Bayern Munich.

It was another disappointing performance from Borussia Dortmund, who did not create much in terms of chances. Thorgan Hazard’s moment of brilliance was cancelled out by Noah Sarenren Bazee’s second half goal. And in the end, the draw was certainly a fair result.

It is easy to blame the injury crisis for Borussia Dortmund’s woes. But this is a game they should have won comfortably, regardless of the personnel situation.

Here are our player ratings for the Borussia Dortmund players from their 1-1 draw against Augsburg.

Gregor Kobel (6/10)

Kobel wasn’t really tested much, but was up to the task whenever Augsburg threatened. He did make one sloppy pass in the second half, but it went unpunished in the end.
