Emre Can (6/10)

Emre Can’s game was a bit of a mixed bag. He put in a committed shift, cleaned up a number of messy situations, and kept the dangerous Ruben Vargas quiet for the majority of the game. But he was too slow in his attempt to try and prevent the cross from coming in before Augsburg’s equaliser.

Mats Hummels (6.5/10)

Hummels fought hard and performed his defensive duties well except for a couple of small errors. He won most of his duels and also made a number of important tackles for his side.

Marin Pongracic (5/10)

Pongracic did not look too comfortable on the pitch, thanks in part to the fact that he was booed by the Augsburg fans for the entirety of the second half. He did make a few vital interceptions for his side. But his headed clearance before Augsburg’s goal simply wasn’t strong enough.
