Report: Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich among clubs interested in signing Djed Spence
Highly rated full-back Djed Spence is said to be attracting the interest of a number of clubs, including Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich.
The summer transfer window is still a few months away, but transfer rumours are already in full swing. Borussia Dortmund are being linked with a move for Middlesbrough full-back Djed Spence, who is enjoying an impressive season in the second division of English football.
According to Sky Sport, a number of big clubs from the Bundesliga, English Premier League and La Liga are interested in signing Spence. Bayern Munich are said to be seriously interested in signing the 21 year old, while Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig are also in the race for his signature. The report also claims that Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur are keeping tabs on him.
Spence is currently on loan at English Championship side Nottingham Forest, where he has two goals and three assists in 34 appearances across all competitions. The right-back has established himself as one of the top performers in the league this season. And Sky claim that Middlesbrough are looking for a transfer fee in the region of 10-15 million euros for him.
Right-back is an area Borussia Dortmund may well look to bolster in the summer transfer window. The Black and Yellows have been linked with moves for Noussair Mazraoui and Jeremie Frimpong in recent weeks.
