Predicted Borussia Dortmund lineup for Arminia Bielefeld clash
By Tushar Bahl
Borussia Dortmund are set to be without a number of key players for Sunday’s Bundesliga clash at home to Arminia Bielefeld.
Borussia Dortmund will be looking to return to winning ways as they take on Arminia Bielefeld on Sunday. Having failed to win their last two games, the Black and Yellows will want to deliver a much improved performance against a struggling Arminia Bielefeld side.
But as has been the theme for much of this season, Borussia Dortmund are going through yet another injury crisis at the moment.
Mats Hummels and Raphael Guerreiro are sidelined after testing positive for Covid-19, Marco Reus is ill, while Thomas Meunier, Youssoufa Moukoko, Dan-Axel Zagadou and Steffen Tigges are injured. Manuel Akanji is also unavailable, as he is not yet back in team training.
In slightly better news, Erling Haaland and Gio Reyna look set to return to the bench after recovering from their respective injuries.
Here is a look at how Borussia Dortmund could line up for Sunday’s Bundesliga clash against Arminia Bielefeld.
Goalkeeper: Gregor Kobel
Kobel is enjoying an excellent debut season with Borussia Dortmund, and will want to keep his fine run of form going on Sunday. Although with a makeshift defence in front of him, he could be in for a busy afternoon.
