Borussia Dortmund’s latest injury crisis could present an opportunity for Axel Witsel, who hasn’t been able to make much of an impact this season. Time is running out for the Belgian international to earn a new contract at BVB, and he will be determined to impress on Sunday.
Mahmoud Dahoud and Jude Bellingham have been the mainstays in the Borussia Dortmund midfield this season. They have been two of the team’s most consistent performers. And with Arminia Bielefeld set to sit deep, they will get a lot of time on the ball on Sunday.
Gio Reyna will likely start on the bench against Arminia Bielefeld after returning to training this week.
