Marius Wolf (8/10)

Wolf showed great awareness to turn home what proved to be the winner for Borussia Dortmund. He also forced a good save from Stefan Ortega in the first half, and continued to cause problems to the Arminia Bielefeld defenders before being replaced due to a neck problem.

Thorgan Hazard (6/10)

Hazard assisted Wolf’s winner with a nice low cross. He wasn’t involved much after that, although he did have a decent chance to double Dortmund’s lead late in the first half. But George Bello stepped up to close down the space very quickly.

Donyell Malen (7/10)

Malen put in the hard work without getting any reward once again. He created some really good openings for himself and his teammates. He also hit the crossbar in the second half. Overall, it was a very lively performance from the Netherlands international who is starting to look more and more comfortable in a Borussia Dortmund shirt.

Erling Haaland, Gio Reyna (6/10)

Haaland and Reyna both made their comebacks off the bench but failed to make any major impact on the game. Haaland did set up a decent chance for Reyna, but the USMNT international wasn’t able to find the target with his effort.
