Predicted Borussia Dortmund lineup for FC Köln clash

Defenders: Felix Passlack, Emre Can, Mats Hummels, Nico Schulz

Borussia Dortmund’s back four will depend on the availability of Mats Hummels, Manuel Akanji and Raphael Guerreiro. If the trio are fit to start, we could well see a much changed back four. Otherwise, the makeshift back four that has kept two clean sheets in a row could get another runout.

Felix Passlack has done a decent job in the last two games and should keep his spot at right-back, with Thomas Meunier unlikely to play again this season. Nico Schulz had some really good moments going forward against Mainz, and will be hoping for another chance in the starting XI on Sunday.

Emre Can will likely start regardless of the personnel situation, especially after his impressive performance against Mainz. But it is possible that he may be needed in midfield.
