Erling Haaland could make his return to the starting XI after coming off the bench in each of the last two games. Speculation about Haaland’s future has dominated headlines in recent weeks, and he will want to let his football do the talking on Sunday.
Donyell Malen had a difficult time on Wednesday against Mainz. But he has shown in recent weeks that he is getting more and more accustomed to the Bundesliga. It will be interesting to see what role the Netherlands international plays on Sunday, with Haaland potentially returning to the starting XI.
Marco Reus is still sidelined so the likelihood is that one of Thorgan Hazard and Marius Wolf will start on the right wing. Both Hazard and Wolf have struggled for consistency this season. And the former will be especially keen to start showing his quality on a more consistent basis heading into the business end of the season.
