FC Köln 1-1 Borussia Dortmund: Player Ratings from frustrating draw

Axel Witsel (5/10)
Witsel wasn’t able to stem the flow of Köln attacks in the first half as the lone defensive midfielder. He got some extra support after the break and looked slightly more comfortable. The Belgian international also failed to offer anything to Dortmund’s build-up play.
Jude Bellingham (6/10)
Bellingham set up Marius Wolf’s goal with a lovely over the top ball. He also set up a chance for Erling Haaland, which the striker fired wide. But he was beaten too easily in the build-up to Köln’s equaliser.
Gio Reyna (6/10)
After a quiet first half, Reyna set up a glorious chance for Erling Haaland in the 56th minute. But the striker was denied by the goalkeeper. The 19 year old got into a great position on the counter attack to set up another chance, but he was too slow with his decision making and failed to make the most of it.
