According to Marca, Jovic is set to leave Real Madrid in the summer and a number of clubs have already expressed an interest in signing him even though concrete negotiations have not taken place yet. Jovic has been limited to a bit-part role since joining Real Madrid from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2019. He has made 49 appearances for the Spanish giants, and has found the net just three times. The 24 year old spent the second half of last season on loan with the Eagles, and scored four goals in 18 Bundesliga appearances.

Borussia Dortmund have been linked with a number of strikers in recent weeks. Bayer Leverkusen’s Patrik Schick appears to be their first-choice target to replace Erling Haaland. While Ajax striker Sebastien Haller and SL Benfica’s Darwin Núñez are also said to be on their radar.

The Black and Yellows are also in talks to sign Karim Adeyemi, but they are not looking to bring him in as a potential replacement for Haaland.
