Predicted Borussia Dortmund lineup for RB Leipzig clash

Defenders: Emre Can, Manuel Akanji, Mats Hummels, Raphael Guerreiro

Borussia Dortmund’s defence is set for another rejig following injuries to Felix Passlack and Nico Schulz. With Thomas Meunier also injured, it will be interesting to see who starts at right-back. Emre Can appears to be the likeliest option.

Manuel Akanji could also play at right-back, like he did earlier in the season. But the likelihood is that he will start in the heart of the Borussia Dortmund defence alongside Mats Hummels. The duo will have to be at their best against RB Leipzig’s quality attack that features Christopher Nkunku and André Silva.

Raphael Guerreiro will start at left-back once again. The Portuguese international has struggled with injuries and inconsistency this season. And he will be looking to find his form going into the business end of the campaign.
