Midfielders: Axel Witsel, Mahmoud Dahoud, Jude Bellingham

Mahmoud Dahoud will return to the starting XI after missing the Köln game through suspension. The German international’s absence was heavily felt in the Borussia Dortmund midfield two weeks ago as they could only manage a 1-1 draw. His return should give the team more control in midfield.

Axel Witsel could partner Dahoud in the dual number six role. The Belgian international hasn’t enjoyed the best of seasons so far. But he will have a key role to play on Saturday as Dortmund look to keep the dangerous RB Leipzig attacking midfielders quiet.

Fresh off his man of the match performance for England, Jude Bellingham will start in the number eight role on Saturday. This will be Bellingham’s first game in front of a packed Signal Iduna Park. And he will be keen to lead the team to victory against RB Leipzig with a dominant performance in the middle of the park.
