Thorgan Hazard (4/10)

Hazard made a very lively start to the game but then gave the ball away before Leipzig’s second goal. He worked hard but the end product was lacking once again.

Axel Witsel (4/10)

Witsel started ahead of Dahoud and made a fairly secure start to the game. But Leipzig quickly overpowered him and took control of the game. The Belgian international should have been subbed off at half time when Dortmund were two goals behind.

Jude Bellingham (5/10)

Bellingham was the only Borussia Dortmund player trying to make things happen at times. But he wasn’t able to make any impact on the game, as his teammates simply weren’t on the same wavelength.

Raphael Guerreiro (3/10)

Guerreiro forgot his defensive duties on a number of occasions, leaving Borussia Dortmund’s back three exposed. He made a few decent forward runs, but they did not count for much in the end.
