Predicted Borussia Dortmund lineup for VfB Stuttgart clash
By Tushar Bahl
Borussia Dortmund go up against VfB Stuttgart in the Bundesliga on Friday, looking to end their run of two games without a win.
Out of the Bundesliga title race and all but assured of a place in the top four, Borussia Dortmund do not have a lot to play for in the final six games of the season. But Marco Rose’s side will be aiming to end their mini-slide on Friday as they square off against VfB Stuttgart.
Borussia Dortmund suffered a damaging 4-1 defeat at home to RB Leipzig last weekend. And anything other than a win on Friday would heap further pressure on the team.
There are no new injury concerns to deal with for Borussia Dortmund going into the game. Jude Bellingham is a slight doubt after picking up a knock. He hasn’t been able to train much this week, but is expected to take part in Thursday’s session and make the trip to Stuttgart.
Here is a look at how Borussia Dortmund could line up for Friday’s game against VfB Stuttgart.
Goalkeeper: Gregor Kobel
Former Stuttgart goalkeeper Gregor Kobel will return to the Mercedes-Benz Arena for the first time since his move to Borussia Dortmund on Friday. He will be hoping for a much better showing from those in front of him.
