Emre Can (6/10)

Can put last weekend’s disappointing showing behind him and delivered a much more composed performance against Stuttgart. He still had a few shaky moments against Borna Sosa. But overall, he put in a very solid shift at right-back.

Manuel Akanji (6/10)

Akanji did not do much wrong and kept things tight. He made a number of intelligent passes and also led the defence well in the second half.

Mats Hummels (6/10)

Hummels won the majority of his duels and also made some vital clearances for his side. He was subbed off at half time with what looked like a hamstring problem.

Raphael Guerreiro (6/10)

Guerreiro was caught out of position mid-way through the first half, resulting in a big chance for Marmoush. But he had a number of decent moments going forward and also hit the woodwork early on.
