Marius Wolf (6/10)

Wolf had a couple of encouraging moments going forward early in the first half. But after that, he was kept fairly quiet as Dortmund were doing the majority of their attacking from the left flank. He still got the assist for Emre Can’s goal and did a decent job in the end.

Axel Witsel (7.5/10)

Witsel delivered a commanding performance in midfield and hardly put a foot wrong. He began the move that led to his goal and completed 97% of his passes. It was a vintage Axel Witsel performance.

Jude Bellingham (7/10)

It’s not often that Borussia Dortmund enjoy a big win and Jude Bellingham is not involved in any of the goals. But he still put in a shift for his side and played with great intensity. Bellingham also set up an excellent chance for Haaland in the second half, which the striker failed to convert.

Tom Rothe (8/10)

Rothe had a bit of a nervy start to the game, but grew in confidence very quickly. He scored Dortmund’s first goal with a fantastic header and played some really good crosses into the box from the left flank. The future is bright for the 17 year old, and hopefully he will get some more playing time in the first-team in the coming weeks.
