Predicted Borussia Dortmund lineup for Bayern Munich clash
By Tushar Bahl
The latest edition of Der Klassiker is upon us and arch-rivals Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich are set to go head to head this weekend.
Borussia Dortmund will be looking to spoil Bayern Munich’s party this weekend as the two sides face off at the Allianz Arena. The Bavarians only need one more win to clinch their tenth straight Bundesliga title. But Marco Rose’s side will be out to ensure that Bayern have to wait another week to secure the Meisterschale.
Borussia Dortmund have two new injury issues ahead of the game. Gregor Kobel and Axel Witsel will both miss the trip to Munich, along with the already sidelined players. While Raphael Guerreiro and Felix Passlack will return to the squad this weekend after recovering from their injuries. Marco Rose may have to get creative as he picks his starting XI for the crunch clash against Bayern Munich.
Here is a look at how Borussia Dortmund could line up against Bayern Munich on Saturday.
Goalkeeper: Marwin Hitz
With Gregor Kobel ruled out after suffering a training injury, Marwin Hitz will make his fourth appearance of the season. Hitz has shown in the past that he is capable of getting the job done, so it will be interesting to see how he fares against Bayern.
