Predicted Borussia Dortmund lineup for Bayern Munich clash
By Tushar Bahl
Defenders: Marius Wolf, Manuel Akanji, Dan-Axel Zagadou, Nico Schulz
Emre Can will be needed in midfield so Marius Wolf is the likeliest option to start at right-back. Although Wolf is a doubt for the Bayern game, and it remains to be seen if he will be able to feature on Saturday.
Felix Passlack and Lion Semic are the other options for the right-back spot, and Raphael Guerreiro has also played in that role once this season.
Dan-Axel Zagadou is also questionable ahead of the trip to Munich. He has impressed in the last couple of games, so the hope will be that he can shake off his issue and feature from the start against Bayern. If Zagadou is unable to feature on Saturday, Marin Pongracic will likely replace him in the starting XI.
Manuel Akanji will lead the BVB defence against Robert Lewandowski and co. With Mats Hummels injured, the Swiss centre-back will have to be at his very best against Bayern.
Raphael Guerreiro may be needed at right-back or in midfield, so one of Nico Schulz and Tom Rothe could start at left-back. Rothe did a good job last weekend against Wolfsburg, but it remains to be seen if the 17 year old is ready for a game of this magnitude. Schulz has struggled this season but offers more experience.
