Benjamin Sesko is said to be one of Borussia Dortmund’s targets to replace Erling Haaland. And his agent has been at the stadium for BVB’s last two games.
Borussia Dortmund are stepping up their search to replace Erling Haaland, with the striker looking set to leave the club in the summer. The Black and Yellows have been linked with a number of strikers in recent weeks, and the highly rated Benjamin Sesko is said to be one of the names on their wishlist.
Kicker report that Sesko’s agent Elvis Basanovic has attended Borussia Dortmund’s last two games. Basanovic was at the Westfalenstadion for BVB’s 6-1 win over VfL Wolfsburg, and then also attended Der Klassiker at the Allianz Arena last weekend.
Bayern Munich have also been linked with a move for Sesko in the past, but it remains to be seen how real their interest is in signing the young striker.
Benjamin Sesko, who has often been dubbed as the next Erling Haaland, has ten goals to his name in 33 appearances for RB Salzburg this season. The 18 year old has more than four years left on his current contract with the Austrian giants.
Kicker add that Sparta Praha’s Adam Hlozek and Stade de Reims’ Hugo Ekitike are among the other names on Borussia Dortmund’s list of targets to replace Haaland. The BVB bosses are looking to sign a young striker with plenty of potential and do not want to pay an astronomical transfer fee. That rules out Patrik Schick and Sebastien Haller, who have both been linked with moves to Dortmund in recent months.
