Marius Wolf (5/10)

Wolf got into some really good positions down the right wing but was often let down by his poor decision making. He worked hard and put in a committed shift for his side, but lacked the quality to make any impact in the final third.

Manuel Akanji (3/10)

Akanji had a difficult afternoon against the resilient Bochum forwards. He had an unfortunate slip before the opening goal, and was also beaten way too easily by Jürgen Locadia for Bochum’s equaliser.

Dan-Axel Zagadou (4/10)

Zagadou had a scare in the opening minute of the game, but luckily it did not result in a goal for Bochum. He then tried to play Takuma Asano offside before Bochum’s second goal, but ended up giving him too much space to set up the chance.

Raphael Guerreiro (3/10)

Guerreiro went down too easily in the build-up to Bochum’s opener. He then played Asano onside before the second goal. The Portuguese international had a few encouraging moments going forward, but his defending was once again lacklustre at best.
