Marius Wolf (6/10)

Wolf worked hard for the team and made some vital defensive contributions. He did not have much luck going forward but put in a solid display.

Axel Witsel (6/10)

Witsel did all the dirty work and distributed the ball really well to ensure that Bellingham had the freedom to venture forward. He kept things neat and tidy and helped make sure that Fürth weren’t able to cause Dortmund too many problems on the counter attack.

Jude Bellingham (7/10)

Bellingham set the tone for Borussia Dortmund and was unlucky to have had his goal disallowed in the second half. He made a number of dangerous forward runs and the Fürth defenders had a lot of difficulty keeping up with him.

Raphael Guerreiro (5.5/10)

Guerreiro had a tough start to the game and was beaten too easily in the build-up to Fürth’s disallowed goal. But he helped set up Dortmund’s opening goal with his shot that was parried into the path of Julian Brandt. The Portuguese international also made a vital tackle to stop a promising looking Fürth attack in the second half. That was probably the only time he tried to help out defensively.
