Report: Borussia Dortmund set to sign highly rated winger Jayden Braaf

Borussia Dortmund are said to be closing in on the signing of highly rated winger Jayden Braaf from Manchester City.
Borussia Dortmund have enjoyed a fairly busy start to the summer transfer window, and it looks like they are about to get their next signing over the line. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Black and Yellows have reached an agreement on personal terms with Jayden Braaf and the young winger will sign his contract in the coming hours. Multiple reports in Germany also claim that Dortmund are on the verge of signing the 19 year old.
Braaf announced yesterday that he will be leaving Manchester City this summer, three years after joining the club from the PSV Eindhoven youth academy. He showed glimpses of his talent at Manchester City, but was left frustrated by his lack of playing time in the first-team.
The winger was linked with a move to Borussia Dortmund in December 2020 as well, but he ended up joining Serie A side Udinese on a loan deal one month later. He made four appearances for Udinese and scored one goal. But he then suffered a knee ligament injury and has been sidelined for the last 12 months.

If the move goes through, Braaf will become the third winger to leave Manchester City and join Borussia Dortmund in recent years. Jadon Sancho made his breakthrough in Dortmund before moving to Manchester United. While Jamie Bynoe-Gittens made his professional debut recently and is set to be a permanent part of the first-team next season.
