Borussia Dortmund have struck a partnership with Official League to create an additional avenue of merchandising via hat designs in the United States.
Borussia Dortmund’s expansion into the United States market is set to get a major boost as the club has partnered with Official League to create club-inspired hat designs. The additional exposure and creation of these limited edition designs will be geared towards promoting and growing awareness about the club in North America.
Alan Miller, President of Official League, told us that he is looking forward to the prospect of partnering with Borussia Dortmund and producing hats that tell a unique story.

We’ve got a few things on the schedule for this year and next year. Our plan is to not rush things, but to create things that fans are going to be super excited and very proud to represent.”"
As someone who has followed Borussia Dortmund’s progress for many years now, Miller is excited about the club’s potential. And he wants to help promote the Black and Yellows‘ already growing brand in North America.

Borussia Dortmund becomes yet another team among an impressive list of partners that Official League will be working with. The company itself launched in February of 2022, and is currently in the business of designing limited edition merchandise for a host of other teams and sports that inhabit the landscapes of soccer, baseball, hockey, rugby and basketball. This multi-faceted approach will make Official League a versatile and creative partner for the club.
Borussia Dortmund’s Director of Internationalization and Commercial Partnerships, Benedikt Scholz, has been quick to highlight the importance of this deal, underlining the importance of the United States market to Borussia Dortmund’s future plans.
