Karim Adeyemi and Niklas Süle are both doubts for Borussia Dortmund’s home game against Werder Bremen this weekend.

Borussia Dortmund have enjoyed an impressive start to the season, winning all three of their games so far. They will be aiming to maintain their 100% record this weekend as they go up against the newly promoted Werder Bremen.

According to Ruhr Nachrichten, Borussia Dortmund have a few question marks ahead of Saturday’s game. Karim Adeyemi and Niklas Süle could only train individually on Wednesday morning, and it remains to be seen if they will be available to face Werder Bremen.

Karim Adeyemi suffered a toe injury during Borussia Dortmund’s Bundesliga opener against Bayer Leverkusen. While Niklas Süle is dealing with a thigh injury and has missed each of the Black and Yellows’ last two games. Edin Terzic will likely give an update on the duo’s availability during his pre-match press conference later this week.

The newspaper adds that Jude Bellingham and Raphael Guerreiro also missed the training session on Wednesday. However, their absence had more to do with load control.

It will be interesting to see if Edin Terzic looks to make any changes to the team that came from behind to beat SC Freiburg 3-1 last week. Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, Youssoufa Moukoko, Marius Wolf and Julian Brandt will all be pushing for a place in the starting XI following their impressive cameos off the bench in last week’s win.

Defensive midfielder Salih Özcan could also be in line for his Borussia Dortmund debut after recovering from his injury.
