Borussia Dortmund will be aiming to make it three wins out of three in the Bundesliga as they square off against Werder Bremen this weekend.

Borussia Dortmund will be back at the Signal Iduna Park this weekend to take on newly promoted side Werder Bremen. The Black and Yellows have won all three of their games so far this season, and they will be determined to keep their winning run going this weekend.

Werder Bremen have also made a decent start to life back in the Bundesliga, drawing both of their games so far 2-2. Die Grün-Weißen have managed to cause a few problems to Borussia Dortmund in recent years, and they have a number of players with Bundesliga experience in their ranks. So Edin Terzic’s side certainly cannot afford to take this fixture lightly.

Terzic revealed during his pre-match press conference on Thursday that Karim Adeyemi and Niklas Süle are set to return to training following their recent spells on the sidelines. And Salih Özcan is also in contention to make his Borussia Dortmund debut.

Werder Bremen will have to make do without injured duo Jean-Manuel Mbom and Dikeni Salifou on Saturday. While former BVB players Marvin Ducksch and Amos Pieper are both doubts heading into the game. But head coach Ole Werner will certainly be hoping to have them in the squad for the game against their former club.
