Sebastian Kehl has revealed that Borussia Dortmund could yet be active again in the transfer market before deadline day.

It has been a fairly eventful transfer window for Borussia Dortmund, with plenty of incomings and outgoings. And Sebastian Kehl has hinted that we could yet see more new arrivals before the transfer window closes. However, the BVB sporting director has made it clear that they will not be making any more big money moves.

Kehl also ruled out the possibility of Borussia Dortmund making a move for Cristiano Ronaldo, who wants to leave Manchester United before the transfer window closes. It was reported recently that Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes has offered the Portuguese international to the Black and Yellows.

"While appearing as a guest on BILD-TV, Kehl said (H/T: Ruhr Nachrichten):“I wouldn’t rule anything out today. We are keeping it open for us to react to how things develop. Maybe, maybe not. But we cannot do anything crazy anymore.”“Cristiano Ronaldo will not move to Borussia Dortmund. That’s a fact.”"

Borussia Dortmund’s main concern before the transfer window closes is to resolve the futures of Manuel Akanji and Nico Schulz. Both players are free to leave the club, but the BVB bosses have yet to receive any concrete offers for them. Akanji is being linked with a move to Inter Milan.

Thomas Meunier’s future at Borussia Dortmund has also come under a bit of doubt in recent days. But Sebastian Kehl reiterated on Sunday that they are not planning to sell the Belgian international this summer.

"“I don’t know what will happen in the coming week. Currently, however, there have been no offers for him and we are not planning for anything to happen either.”"

BILD claimed earlier on Sunday that Meunier has had a falling out with Edin Terzic and wants to leave Borussia Dortmund. But the right-back quickly refuted the report, calling it propaganda from the tabloid.
