Borussia Dortmund will be aiming to return to winning ways this weekend as they travel to Berlin to take on Hertha BSC.

Borussia Dortmund return to Bundesliga action this weekend, looking to recover from their implosion against Werder Bremen. The Black and Yellows face a tricky away game against a struggling Hertha BSC side on Saturday.

Edin Terzic will no doubt see this as a must-win game, having watched his side throw a two goal lead and drop three points last weekend. He will be eager to see a reaction from his players, and we could also see some changes to the team’s formation.

It has been a difficult start to the season for Hertha BSC, who have failed to win any of their four games so far. But the Berliners have caused Borussia Dortmund a fair few problems in this fixture over the years, and managed to claim a stunning 3-2 win when the two sides last met at the Olympiastadion in December.

Borussia Dortmund will be without Donyell Malen on Saturday, with the Netherlands international sidelined for 7-10 days with a muscle injury. Mahmoud Dahoud hasn’t traveled to Berlin either, while Marco Reus picked up a knock in training on Tuesday. Terzic revealed during his pre-match press conference that they are confident his injury is not a serious one. But it remains to be seen if he will be fit to feature this weekend.

Hertha Berlin will have to make do without Filip Uremović, who was sent off last week. Linus Gechter could make his return to the squad. But Jessic Ngankam, Kélian Nsona and Lee Dong-jun are all sidelined.
