Goalkeeper: Alexander Meyer

It will once again be Alexander Meyer in goal for Terzic’s side as Gregor Kobel remains unavailable for at least another week. Meyer performed well against a Copenhagen squad that, in all fairness, did little to test the backup keeper.

Replacing Gregor Kobel in such a high profile fixture will be a very different experience for the 31 year old German Keeper. Kobel has more than once been Dortmund’s lifeline, especially when it comes to taking on sides that are far more aggressive in their attacking play. Even if Leipzig’s form right now is not exactly up to their own standard, he’ll face a Leipzig team that has the tools to ignite and cause some serious threats going forward.

Leipzig’s options up front will likely include recent returnee Timo Werner and last year’s Bundesliga player of the season Christopher Nkunku. Both of these players will likely look to work hard and give Leipzig the opportunity to come away with something from this game as they look to bounce back from their midweek defeat to FC Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League.
