Khellven (21, RB, Athletico Paranaense)

With Thomas Meunier’s ups-and-downs in form and Mateu Morey’s bad luck with injuries, the right-back position remains a big question mark for Borussia Dortmund. A cheap and quality alternative could be the 21-year-old Khellven from Athletico Paranaense.

Khellven began his professional career in 2018 and is now a regular starter playing in one of the most structured clubs in the country. This season, he helped Athletico Paranaense reach its second Copa Libertadores final in history, the South-American equivalent of the UEFA Champions League.

He is known for his strong ability with the ball at his feet, and his ability to drive forward up the pitch. He is also a solid defender and is capable of creating chances for his teammates. His current contract expires in February 2024, and he is valued at 5 million euros, according to Transfermarkt.
