Lucas Pires (21, LB, Santos)

The young and speedy left-back from Santos is an offensive weapon who could provide Borussia Dortmund with a smart solution to their full-back woes.

Originally a player from the Corinthians youth team, Santos snatched Lucas Pires from their rivals last year, and he immediately began to show his high potential. In January, he started to shine in the Copa São Paulo, the most traditional and prestigious competition for young players in Brazil.

Following his strong performances in that tournament, he was called up to the professional squad and quickly became the starter in his position.

By the middle of the year, he lost momentum and his spot as a result of an injury, but his potential is still worth the risk. He is an offensive prototype full-back, and his high-quality crosses are his main attribute. According to Transfermarkt, his transfer value is 2 million euros, and his contract expires in 2026.
