André (21, CDM, Fluminense)

André kicked off his football career at Fluminense’s youth team when he was only 12 years old. He made his debut for the Rio de Janeiro club in 2020 and has increased in status since then. He is currently the starting central midfielder for the professionals, winning the Rio State Tournament this year. Fluminense also reached the Brazilian Cup semi-finals this season and is now in the league’s top 4.

Playing for the manager Fernando Diniz, who has an orthodox ball possession philosophy, André is thriving as a true midfield organizer.

He is a balanced midfielder who has the passing skills to take his team forward and give great support at the back. As stated by Transfermarkt, his market value is 8 million euros, and his contract expires in December 2025.
