Borussia Dortmund player ratings from 3-2 defeat vs FC Köln
By Tushar Bahl
Thomas Meunier (5/10)
Meunier had another mixed bag of a game. He did well to win the ball back in the build up to the opening goal, and had some encouraging moments going forward as well. But some of his decision making was frustrating, and he was caught well out of position in the build-up to the equaliser.
Niklas Süle (4/10)
Süle had a solid first half and made a couple of vital blocks for his side. But he was also too slow to react in the build-up to Köln’s equaliser and third goal.
Nico Schlotterbeck (4/10)
Schlotterbeck often looked careless in possession and was caught sleeping by Steffen Tigges in the build-up to Köln’s second goal. He did make some vital tackles and blocks, but the performance simply wasn’t good enough for a player of his quality.
Raphael Guerreiro (5/10)
Guerreiro had a torrid time defensively, especially in the second half. Although he did have some encouraging moments going forward and helped set up a couple of dangerous openings for his teammates.
