Karim Adeyemi (5/10)

Adeyemi had some very encouraging moments in the first half. The German international set up a great chance for Malen and also forced a couple of good saves from the goalkeeper. But his lack of tracking back hurt the team on a number of occasions.

Donyell Malen (4/10)

Malen’s lack of composure in the first half prevented Borussia Dortmund from going into the break with a bigger lead. He got into some great positions but failed to make the most of his chances. The Netherlands international wasn’t much of a factor in the second half.

Anthony Modeste (3/10)

Modeste cut a frustrated figure for the majority of the game and was kept quiet by his former employers. He was unable to get on the same wavelength as his teammates, even though he worked hard to get involved in the build-up play.

Thorgan Hazard (4/10)

Hazard looked very rusty after coming off the bench and wasn’t able to make any impact on the game. He also missed a big chance from close range.
