Predicted Borussia Dortmund lineup for Sevilla clash
By Tushar Bahl
Borussia Dortmund will have to make do without a number of key players as they go up against Sevilla in the UEFA Champions League group stage on Wedneday.
Borussia Dortmund are set to take on Sevilla on Wednesday in what will arguably be the most important game in their UEFA Champions League group. The Black and Yellows have won one and lost one of their two games in the competition so far. And if they can manage to get a good result against the Spanish side, they will fancy their chances of making it to the round of 16.
Edin Terzic will certainly know the importance of this game, especially with Borussia Dortmund facing a crunch game against Bayern Munich at the weekend.
But BVB will be without several key players on Wednesday, including Marco Reus, Mats Hummels, Gio Reyna, Sebastien Haller, and Mahmoud Dahoud. Gregor Kobel is set to make his return to the squad. But it remains to be seen if he will be able to feature following his recent injury lay-off.
Here we take a look at how Borussia Dortmund could line up for their UEFA Champions League group stage clash against Sevilla on Wednesday.
Goalkeeper: Alexander Meyer
Gregor Kobel has made the trip to Seville. But the Swiss shot stopper was forced to spend a number of weeks on the sidelines due to injury, and may not be ready to play on Wednesday. So Alexander Meyer could well keep his place in the team.
