Borussia Dortmund reportedly have a good chance of keeping Jude Bellingham at the club beyond the end of the season, amid interest from a number of top clubs.
There has been plenty of speculation regarding Jude Bellingham’s future in recent weeks, with several top clubs interested in signing him. The likes of Liverpool, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United are said to be in the race to sign the England international. But he could well stay at Borussia Dortmund beyond the end of the season.
According to Sky Sport, the Black and Yellows find themselves in a good position and have a good chance of keeping Bellingham at the club beyond the end of the season. There is no release clause in the 19 year old’s current contract, which has three more years left to run.
It was also reported last month that Borussia Dortmund are willing to offer Bellingham a new contract. But if the midfielder decides to leave the club next summer, it would be for a transfer fee of more than 100 million euros.
Jude Bellingham is one of Borussia Dortmund’s most important players, and has made a total of 101 appearances for the club since joining from Birmingham City in 2020. He was also appointed the club’s third captain by head coach Edin Terzic before the start of this season. The highly rated midfielder got the opportunity to captain his side from the start for the first time last weekend, and he said that it was a dream come true for him.
