Jude Bellingham: I want to lead by example at Borussia Dortmund

Jude Bellingham has heaped praise on his Borussia Dortmund teammates, adding that he wants to lead the team by example with his performances.
Jude Bellingham delivered another stellar performance on Wednesday evening as he led Borussia Dortmund to a 4-1 win away to Sevilla in the UEFA Champions League. Tasked with captaining the side once again in the absence of Marco Reus and Mats Hummels, the England international set the tone in midfield and ended the game with a goal and an assist.
In an interview with UEFA after the game, Bellingham said that his teammates make his job much easier and added that he wants to help Borussia Dortmund win games every time he steps on the pitch.
"“I’m just trying to help the team win really. I really enjoy these nights, as you can see. Every time I step out I want to help Borussia Dortmund win the game.”“My team-mates around me are so experienced so they make it (captaincy) quite easy. They do the majority of the work. For me, it’s about trying to lead by example with my performance and everything else follows. I play with such amazing people and players that it makes it quite easy for me to just continue to do what I do.”"
Bellingham has enjoyed an impressive start to the season, and he has especially made a big impact in the UEFA Champions League. And he made more history on Wednesday, as he become the first midfielder in the competition’s history to score in three consecutive games while still being a teenager.
The 19 year old also became the youngest captain to score in a UEFA Champions League game, and the goal certainly showed his world class ability.
Jude Bellingham will have a crucial role to play once again on Saturday as Borussia Dortmund go up against Bayern Munich in the latest edition of Der Klassiker. And he believes that if the Black and Yellows play like they did against Sevilla, they have a good chance of finally ending their dismal winless run against their title rivals.
