Away to Union Berlin (Bundesliga, October 16)

Union Berlin have been the surprise package in the Bundesliga this season. The team from the German capital arrived in the Bundesliga after defeating Stuttgart in the relegation playoffs of the 2018-19 season. Since their arrival, the Iron Ones have adopted to life in the Bundesliga brilliantly, finishing in 7th and 5th, respectively.

This season, Union Berlin are enjoying a stunning start, leading the league with 17 points, tied with Freiburg. They have pulled off some remarkable results already, such as a 6-1 away win over Schalke 04, and a 1-1 draw against Bayern Munich.

The Swiss coach Urs Fischer is overachieving with his current squad. Their consistency and the fact that they will be at home make it a hard match-up for Borussia Dortmund. Union Berlin have already caused a lot of problems to BVB in recent seasons. And Edin Terzic’s side will need to deliver a near-perfect performance if they want to claim the three points in Berlin.
