Donyell Malen (5/10)

Donyell Malen looked dangerous in the first half but also failed to beat Manuel Neuer with what was Borussia Dortmund’s best chance of the first half. His impact on the game reduced after the break, and he then made way for Anthony Modeste.

Julian Brandt (5/10)

Julian Brandt had a tough time against Alphonso Davies in the first half, and things did not get any better for him after the break. He was too slow to make up his mind at times after getting into some good positions.

Youssoufa Moukoko (8/10)

Youssoufa Moukoko pressed with great intensity in the first half and won the ball high up the pitch on a couple of occasions. He struggled to cope with the physicality of the Bayern defenders at times. But his energy and hard work were rewarded in the 75th minute, when he halved the deficit with a well taken goal.

Marius Wolf (5/10)

Marius Wolf forced a save just moments after coming on and then missed a golden chance from the resulting corner. He also had a tough time against Kingsley Coman before the winger was sent off late on.

Karim Adeyemi (7/10)

Karim Adeyemi caused the tired Bayern defenders a lot of problems with his pace and directness after coming on. He also set up a glorious chance for Anthony Modeste, which the striker failed to bury.

Anthony Modeste (7.5/10)

Anthony Modeste came up clutch for Borussia Dortmund, scoring a 95th minute equaliser. He also held the ball up really well in the build-up to Youssoufa Moukoko’s goal. He did miss a massive opportunity in the 83rd minute when it looked easier to score than miss. But the last-gasp equaliser helped him redeem himself in front of the BVB supporters.
