Defenders: Thomas Meunier, Niklas Süle, Mats Hummels, Raphael Guerreiro

This game could give Edin Terzic the perfect opportunity to hand Nico Schlotterbeck some rest. If Mats Hummels has recovered from his circulatory problems and is able to play from the start, he could line up at centre-back alongside Niklas Süle.

Thomas Meunier should make his return to the team after missing Saturday’s game against Bayern Munich for personal reasons. With Marius Wolf also fully fit once again, he could also be an option for the right-back role if Meunier isn’t ready to play.

Raphael Guerreiro hasn’t been afforded much rest so far due to the lack of alternatives at left-back. And it remains to be seen if that will change on Tuesday. The Portuguese international scored a stunning goal last week, and he will get plenty of opportunities to venture forward again on Tuesday.
