Thomas Meunier (7/10)

Thomas Meunier returned to the Borussia Dortmund starting XI and delivered a strong performance at right-back. Not only did he set up the equaliser for Jude Bellingham, but he also defended with great resolve and put in a tireless shift for the team. He was forced to come off late in the game after picking up what looked like a muscle injury.

Niklas Süle (5.5/10)

Niklas Süle had a solid game for the most part. But he also had a lapse in concentration in the second half when he left Erik Lamela with ample space and time in Borussia Dortmund’s six yard box. Luckily for Süle, Gregor Kobel produced an outstanding save to deny the Sevilla winger.

Mats Hummels (7/10)

Mats Hummels continued his impressive run of form and led the defence really well for Borussia Dortmund. He hardly put a foot wrong and helped keep Youssef En-Nesyri at bay for the majority of the game. The veteran centre-back made a number of vital recoveries and interceptions for his side.

Tom Rothe (5/10)

Making his first start in the UEFA Champions League, Tom Rothe looked nervous and had a tough time early on against Jesus Navas. He also gave the ball away cheaply on a number of occasions before being taken off at half time.
