Report: Borussia Dortmund keeping tabs on highly rated Crystal Palace striker Junior Dixon
Borussia Dortmund are said to be keeping tabs on 17 year old Crystal Palace striker Junior Dixon, who has been making plenty of waves in the U-18s Premier League this season.
Crystal Palace youngster Junior Dixon is said to be attracting the interest of Borussia Dortmund, with reports claiming that the Black and Yellows are tracking his progress. BILD claim that BVB have been scouting the striker for some time now, and they could make a move for him in the coming months.
The tabloid adds that Borussia Dortmund are not likely to make a move for Dixon in the January transfer window. But they could intensify their interest in him in the summer.
Junior Dixon has seven goals and two assists to his name in just five appearances for Crystal Palace in the U-18s Premier League so far this season.
According to the Telegraph, Belgian side KRC Genk are also interested in signing the talented striker. The newspaper adds that Dixon could leave Crystal Palace at the end of the season for a training compensation fee.
If Borussia Dortmund decide to make an approach for Junior Dixon, he could follow in the footsteps of Jadon Sancho, Jude Bellingham and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens. The trio left English clubs to join Borussia Dortmund at a very young age, and got the opportunity to establish themselves as first-team stars at the club.
After making his breakthrough at Borussia Dortmund, Sancho decided to join Manchester United. While Bellingham and Bynoe-Gittens have both been making plenty of waves in recent months, and are currently part of the BVB first-team.
