Orkun Kökçü is said to be attracting the interest of Borussia Dortmund, with Dutch news platform 1908 claiming that the Black and Yellows have been extensively scouting the Feyenoord midfielder.
The report claims that BVB scouts were in attendance at the Feyenoord Stadium for Feyenoord’s UEFA Europa League clash against FC Midtjylland on Thursday, adding that they have extensively scouted the 21 year old on a number of occasions over the last 12 months.
Scouts from French side Olympique Lyonnais and a number of other clubs were also at the game on Thursday to watch Kökçü in action. And the Turkish international delivered an impressive performance, leading his side to a 2-2 draw.
Kökçü, who came through the youth ranks at Dutch side Feyenoord before making his first-team breakthrough and becoming the club captain, has made a total of 141 appearances for the club so far. He has enjoyed an impressive start to the season, and has four goals and one assist to his name in 12 appearances across all competitions.

According to the report, the highly rated midfielder’s signature will not come cheap as he still has three years left on his current contract with Feyenoord. English Premier League clubs Arsenal, West Ham United and Leicester City have also been linked with a move for him in recent months.
