Karim Adeyemi (3/10)

Karim Adeyemi had a game to forget and gave the ball away cheaply in the build up to Union Berlin’s second goal. He made an encouraging start to the game but lost his confidence after that giveaway and was taken off at half time.

Youssoufa Moukoko (6/10)

Moukoko tried to make things happen and worked very hard despite not getting much service. He created a couple of decent openings for himself but wasn’t able to beat Frederik Rønnow in the end.

Marco Reus (5/10)

Reus looked lively after coming on at half time and should have made it 2-1 in the 77th minute. But after some excellent build-up play, he wasn’t able to beat Rønnow.

Julian Brandt (4/10)

Brandt helped set up a great chance for Marco Reus in the second half but did not have any noteworthy moments other than that.

Donyell Malen (3/10)

Malen looked like a player devoid of any confidence after coming on at half time. He looked poor on the ball and wasn’t able to make any impact on the game.
