Predicted Borussia Dortmund lineup vs Hannover 96
By Tushar Bahl
Defenders: Thomas Meunier, Mats Hummels, Nico Schlotterbeck, Tom Rothe
With Marius Wolf still sidelined, Thomas Meunier could keep his spot at right-back. The Belgian international has struggled in recent weeks, and will be looking to find some form ahead of the World Cup.
Niklas Süle could be in line for a breather on Wednesday, so we could see Mats Hummels and Nico Schlotterbeck start in defence. Antonios Papadopoulos and Soumaila Coulibaly are the other defensive options available to Edin Terzic if he decides to make more changes to his back-line.
Wednesday’s game could be a good opportunity to give Tom Rothe some valuable playing time. The highly rated left-back struggled against Sevilla last week. But he could have more of an impact against a team from the second division. This would also allow Raphael Guerreiro to get some rest.
